OUR WORK
MISSION:
The Hinsdale Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) seeks to further commercial and economic development in the town of Hinsdale NH by:

Serving as liaison between private and public bodies in coordinating and negotiating development activity

Assuming a positive role in seeking out and discussing with present and potential property owners, developers and tenants those opportunities and plans for bringing together available programs, investment opportunities, financial assistance programs as well as the necessary government cooperation with the objective of maintaining and furthering a strong and positive industrial and commercial base

Assisting the Selectmen in meeting their goals for maintaining a strong industrial and commercial base

Maintaining a cooperative working relationship with the Planning Board, and other community organizations in its development planning role

HEDC Facilitates Regional Connections
Exciting news for Hinsdale!
We are thrilled to announce that Hinsdale has been recognized as a "Housing Champion," the first to receive this prestigious designation in New Hampshire! Thanks to the hard work of Kathryn Lynch, the Town Administrator, who spearheaded the application, we can now access vital grant funding for housing and infrastructure.
A special shoutout to Josh Green, the Community Development Coordinator, for representing Hinsdale at the award ceremony and sharing our gratitude to BEA and all involved. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to community development and supporting our residents and businesses.
Only 18 municipalities have earned this award, marking a significant milestone for Hinsdale and HEDC. HEDC was instrumental in connecting the town of Hinsdale and the folks at BEA to make this happen.
HEDC Promotes Outreach To Our Local Business Community
On August 22nd HEDC hosted its first Business Networking Event in Hinsdale!
Speakers included Max Beebe, our Development Liaison; Sean Leary, President of Hinsdale Economic Development Corporation; Kathryn Lynch, our Town Administrator; and Josh Green, our Community Development Coordinator. Each of them shared valuable insights about their roles and the ongoing efforts to enhance Hinsdale's economic landscape.
Outreach to developers, local business owners and regional stakeholders is one of the functions of HEDC.
